Bryden has been an active member in the curling community since 2004 and over the years has spent many hours on the ice as a player and off the ice as a volunteer. He joined the Board of Directors in 2017 and has remained active since. He served terms both as Vice President and President, and continues to be the chair for several leagues, bonspiels and events. Bryden has previous employment with MHCC as a Junior Instructor, Ice Technician and Lounge staff member, dating back to 2012. Outside of curling he is an avid golfer and enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. 

With over 7 years of Head Ice Tech experience employed by several curling clubs across Canada, Paul enters our Curling Centre with an extensive knowledge of all things related to making high quality curling ice. Being both level 1 and level 2 Ice Tech certified through Curling Canada, Paul has both the training and knowledge to produce top quality ice. In 2016 Paul was the Head Ice Technician during the Canadian Junior Championships and has been voted best ice on tour for the Saskatchewan Goldline Men’s tour. He has also been involved as the Head Ice Tech for several provincial and national championships while stationed in both Saskatchewan and Ontario. 

With countless hours of work experience as an ice technician, Dave joins our team with a passion and drive to produce top quality curling ice for all curlers who visit the Medicine Hat Curling Centre. As a member of the Ice Crew at the WinSport (Calgary Olympic Park) for over 9 years he has completed over 120 ice installs of hockey ice. Dave’s passion for sports was a large factor in his choice to transition from hockey ice to curling ice, and he is eager to learn all he can. His positive and upbeat personality make him the perfect addition to our ice team.
